■ BISHOPS Cleeve secured their first league win of the season with victory over Bemerton Heath.
There was no real action to write about for the first 20 minutes, apart from a few shots from Bishop’s Cleeve, forcing the Bemerton Heath keeper into making good saves.
Injury time of the first half saw Cleeve’s Jay Malshanskyj hit the post with a good strike, with the follow-up effort hitting the side-netting.
The second half saw a lot of the same, with Cleeve controlling the game but being wasteful with their chances.
