■ WALSALL Wood needed a late equaliser from Kaiman Anderson to cancel out a Coventry Sphinx fightback.
Chances were at a premium in the first half, with Wood’s Carter Lycett and Kyle Carey for Sphinx coming the closest.
The home side finally made the breakthrough five minutes into the second half when defender Ash Carter drilled a free-kick into the bottom left corner.
