WYTHENSHAWE got revenge on Congleton, for knocking them out of the FA Trophy, with a victory in the league.
It was Congleton who took the lead in the fourth minute when Dan Needham was fouled in the area.
Peter Williams stepped up to dispatch the penalty in fine style.
Their lead last just three minutes as Abdullahi Ahmed pulled the hosts level when he beat Dave Parton from outside the box.
Wythenshawe got a penalty of their own in the
33rd minute when Josh Ryder dragged down Darrhyl Mason in the box.
