■ FORMER Lincoln City striker Matt Rhead sunk Atherton Collieries with the game’s only goal.
The Kidsgrove veteran tested Ellis Litherland early on, before Rhead and Tom Bentham had chances at both ends.
But Rhead who would open the scoring as he met a floated ball in to power a header beyond Litherland.
