WALSALL Wood extended their unbeaten ■ run to nine league games as they played out a goalless draw with Long Eaton.
It was one-way traffic in the first half as Wood dominated possession and denied their opponents any clear chances on goal.
Carter Lycett’s lobbed effort clipped a post with Kaiman Anderson unable to convert the follow-up as the hosts looked for the opener.
And it was Lycett who went close again midway through the half, making a run in behind the defence only to shoot wide.
