NORTHWOOD twice let their lead slip but still secured their first point of the season against fellow strugglers Leverstock Green.
Godlove Oppong was denied early on for the Wood but hopes were raised again when Gabi Ipanga-Mbambo scored the their first home goal of the season in the 59th minute, finishing a nice play with Ade Gbolahan and Prince Mbengui.
