ATHERTON Collieries gained their first league win of the season with a last-minute winner against Mossley.
Colls’ captain Calen Gallagher glanced a header from Ayo Quadri’s corner in the fourth minute of injury time to send the Atherton fans home happy as they had only picked up two points from the opening seven games.
It was a win the Lancashire side deserved as they had the better of chances with Eden Bailey flicking an effort just wide of the target just after the break.
