■A SUPERB first-half display saw Carlton register back to back wins as they ran out comfortable winners against a lacklustre Consett.
Alex Howes opened the scoring after good work from Liam Moran. Moran was denied by an excellent James Anderson save but Dean Freeman was on hand for a tap-in inside 15 minutes.
Consett offered little in response and a sweeping move on the break involving Ollie Clark and Howes found Moran in space and the front man found the corner from 20 yards. The second half was a quieter affair. Carlton content to manage the game. J...
