■ LIAM Prynn and Josh Bernard’s efforts either side of half-time ensured that Tavistock secured all three points against Thatcham Town in the Southern League South Division. In a game between two sides hoping to take key steps away from the dropzone, it was the hosts who took the advantage in the 36th minute. Just nine minutes before the break, Prynn found himself perfectly-placed to take advantage of Callum Smart’s initial save into his path and tap home.
