■GRANTHAM ground out three points with a tight win over Coventry Sphinx Sphinx were dangerous on the break from the outset and Ebanks made a saving tackle from Willock. Grantham came more into the game and took the lead after 16 minutes when Darlington scored following a corner.
Darlington added a second after 19 minutes following a cross from debutant Ward.
