REAL BEDFORD went top of the Southern League Central Division with a comfortable win at Hertford Town.
The Pirates raced into a commanding lead, scoring twice in 17 minutes to leave Hertford scrambling for a foothold they never managed to find.
Taking just 12 minutes to open the scoring, the visitors found the lead courtesy of a great strike from Jack Morrell, who rewarded his side for their solid start.
