THIRTEEN was the lucky number for Phoenix Sports as their 13th league game of the season finally produced their first win.
They quickly took the lead against Steyning Town when Richard Pingling turned home a Jeff Duah-Kessie cross but the hosts’ lead didn’t last long as Jack Barnes soon converted a spot-kick.
Steyning then went in front thanks to a towering Harry Shooman header before it was Phoenix turn to respond, which they did through Deshane Dalling.
Pingling then gave Phoenix Sports a half-time lead...
