HEATON Stannington claimed a confident victory over Ossett United at Grounsell Park.
The visitors started strongly, fresh off an away win, and pressed hard in the opening stages, with Eddie Church’s set pieces creating early threats for the home defence. However, Ossett couldn’t convert their pressure into goals, allowing Heaton Stannington to grow into the game.
