THERE was a good pace to the game from the off, with both teams attacking in the opening stages.
Barton went on to take the lead, with a great free kick from Taylor Rhiney, curling his effort in to give Barton a 1-0 lead. Beaconsfield had their chances to level the game as the half went on but couldn’t find the final touch needed.
