AYLESBURY initially began well, forcing Connor Hunt into several first-half stops from Kamil Zielinski and Luqman Kassim. This continued in the second period too, as Hunt tipped an Andrijus Lapacinskas effort superbly onto the left post.
However, his opposite number would steal the spotlight for the wrong reasons. After spilling a cross, Jack Hopwood reacted poorly to home fans’ jeers and received his marching orders.
