■ BRIDLINGTON Town returned to winning ways at the Mounting Systems Stadium as a Nathan Dyer goal separated the two sides.
Dyer fired the Seasiders in front from a through ball from Alex Peterson which put him one on one with the keeper, whom he slotted past to open the scoring.
Dyer almost added another when his shot rebounded off Heaton Stannington keeper Lewis Brass then it was deflected of a post back into play.
Heaton Stannington’s Andrew Burn fired just wide after the break, before Peterson headed over.
