ASHFORD United were ■ comfortable winners against East Grinstead at The Homelands.
The hosts could have taken the lead in the first minute but Danny Kedwell’s shot was cleared off the line by Matthew Weaire. Five minutes later Louis Collins had an effort well saved by the visitors’ goalkeeper Finlay Weston. The deadlock was broken in the 13th minute. Ashford were awarded a penalty when Alex Andrade Filipe was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty area. James Dunne made no mistake with his spot kick.
