■ QUORN extended their lead at the top of the Midlands division to nine points after a battling second-half performance against Darlaston Town.
The Citizens scored with their only meaningful effort on target, a powerful Ben Podmore header from a corner in the 16th minute.
Quorn felt denied three penalties, including one in the 75th minute when Zak Goodson was fouled. Despite claiming it was inside the box, they scored from the resulting free-kick. Reece Fyfe’s shot was saved by James Storer, but he fumbled, allowing Mason Frizelle to score. ...
