■ ASCOT United won the battle of in-form teams, downing hosts Raynes Park Vale at Grand Drive despite playing half an hour with ten men
United took the lead after five minutes, Harvey Harry charging forward, passing to Harry Grant, whose cutback was stabbed home by Ben Harris. Mark Scott
made an excellent save for Ascot just before the half-hour, but he was beaten by Kyen Nicholas, his first Vale goal – from an acute angle – after 41 minutes.
