EASTBOURNE Town and Deal Town played out a match almost as wild as the worst Storm Bert could throw at The Saffrons.
In the third minute Alfie Foster hauled down Martin Ruda and was shown a red card as well as conceding a penalty which James Stone converted.
Deal’s equaliser was also a penalty, after 31 minutes, Macca Murray netting after a foul by Tom Vickers.
Eastbourne regained the lead with a superb James Hull goal, but Murray’s emphatic second penalty (third overall) made it 2–2 at the break.
