■ AFTER a good spell of play from the visitors it was 1-0 to Mossley in the 17th minute after Obua Mugalula capitalised on a defensive error by Bootle. Just three minutes later Mossley doubled their lead after a Bailey Marsden effort which sent the ball straight past Tony Thompson. Former Buck Mason Fawnes whipped in a corner which found the head of Michael Brewster who claimed the assist for the goal.
