BEMERTON gained a n hard-fought morale-boosting victory over the league leaders thanks to a double by Joe Smith.
Yate took the lead in the 18th minute when Lucas Tomlinson scored a free-kick. The hosts equalised just before the break when Olly Balmer whipped the ball into the box and after the visitors failed to clear it, Joe headed it over Aaron Sainsbury and into the net.
