CAMBRIDGE claimed their first win at their new stadium with a hard-fought victory over Grays Athletic.
The home side started much the better and led early through George Smith’s free header inside the penalty area. And it was two when Grays failed to clear and Alex Warman finished smartly.
Grays also had plenty of chances. Just before the break, the visitors thought they had scored, but Luke Hirst’s effort was adjudged not to have crossed the line.
