THIRD-PLACED Evesham continued their ■ chase of the league’s top two on Saturday as they beat second-from-bottom Thatcham Town.
The Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium played host to a decisive two-punch combo in the first 20 minutes, with Alfie Dunn drawing first blood by heading home a rebound from Rhys Bennett’s right-sided corner after ten minutes.
Goal number two arrived ten minutes later courtesy of Toby Raison who beat the offside line to fire smartly into the bottom-left after Thatcham had struggled to clear.
