■ MALDON & Tiptree came out on top in an entertaining clash as they inflicted Redbridge’s first defeat under new boss Chris Taylor.
The visitors took the lead when Mohammed Amir fired a low drive past Samuel Nwabuko, but the lead only lasted three minutes before Malachi Napa won and scored a penalty for Redbridge.
Maldon went back in front when a shot was initially parried by Nwabuko before the rebound was fired home by Kai Brown.
And two soon became three as Kai Redgrave turned inside a defender before emphatically blasting home.
