■SHEPSHED looked to continue the momentum from last Saturday’s win over promotion-chasing Worcester city. High-flying Corby Town were looking to decrease the ever-expanding gap to leaders Quorn.
In a close first half Corby had the best chance through Joel Carta’s 18-yard drive that hit the crossbar. Tendai Daire’s follow-up effort was then cleared off the line.
Shepshed’s best opportunity came when Callum Burkey’s vollewas superbly saved by Ross Durrant.
