THE two relegation-threatened sides shared the points after a predictably scrappy affair at Butlin Road.
Jahvan Davidson-Miller guided an early chance over for Rugby, before the visitors were awarded a penalty after 28 minutes when Tyreace Brown fouled Nathanial Dixon in the box.
However, Paul Hathaway was down well to his right to keep out Joe Palmer’s penalty, with Palmer denied again later in the half when his low shot struck a post.
