■IT ended goalless between Grantham and Boldmere St Michaels despite both sides creating chances to win the game.
Grantham began brightly and hit the bar after three minutes and continued to press, with Sam Muggleton heading over.
Boldmere came more into the game, with Ngombi and Allison going close. Tomlinson had a chance for Grantham, but Brown smothered his shot. Bold-mere were dangerous on the counter, but Grantham continued to press, and Allen shot wide after 39 minutes when well placed.
