■ATHERTON moved out of the bottom four with victory at Congleton.
The visitors took the lead when Congleton midfielder Peter Williams uncharacteristically lost the ball in midfield, allowing Scott Bakkor to sweep home.
They doubled their lead just after the break when keeper Craig Ellison collided with Kielen Adams after he cleared the ball, and Aaron Dwyer converted the penalty.
