THIRD and fourth-placed Ascot and Uxbridge cancelled each other out in a stale affair at The Racecourse.
Ascot’s Khalid Simmo failed to test visiting ‘keeper George Legg after Legg had inadvertently passed the ball to him early on, before Uxbridge threatened when James Taylor’s header looped wide and Dan Fosu missed with a volley.
Ascot improved after the break and Legg saved from both Ben Harris and Harvey Harry in quick succession, although they nearly undid themselves at the other end when home keeper Mark Scott’s clearance...
