■ MALVERN Town moved to the formative table’s summit thanks to a confident victory over Melksham at the Langland Stadium. The hosts took the lead just before the half-hour mark.
A cross from Joe Bullock proved tricky for visiting keeper Adam Forster, and his spillage fell the way of Harry Clark to prod home from close range.
Six minutes later, it was 2-0. Piers Walton did well to win the ball in the centre of the Melksham half.
