MILDENHALL TOWN edged out Stanway Rovers in a tight and cagey Isthmian League North Division encounter.
With both sides locked in a midfield battle for much of the contest, chances were scarce as neither team was able to carve out many clear openings.
The game was defined by discipline and organisation rather than attacking flair, with possession often cancelled out in the middle third.
