■ EASTBOURNE TOWN made it four league wins in a row with a hard-fought win over Merstham.
The decisive moment came after just 17 minutes. Aaron Capon played a great ball through to Joe Overy, who showed superb composure to slot it beyond Rob Tolfrey and into the bottom corner.
Overy himself then almost turned provider on the hour mark – picking out an unmarked Sonny Walsh but he couldn’t apply the finish.
