■LONDON Lions picked up their second win in three games as they continued a fine start to life in step 4.
The Maccabi London Sports Ground saw a consummate 2-0 win over Hertford Town this weekend, and the opener came in the 17th minute.
A key component of last term’s promotion, Max Davis whipped in a lovely corner for the head of Alex Lee and he nodded past James Callan.
Following a well-fought remainder of the half, the second decisive goal came in the last 20 minutes of the second period.
