■ IN-FORM Westfield beat struggling Ascot to move into third.
Manolas Gogonas dragged an early penalty wide for the visitors and home ‘keeper Kie Plumley produced fine saves to deny both Tom Dryer and Finn Evans. Ascot rallied, but still found themselves behind when Evans fired across Plumley and into the right hand corner after the unmarked Dryer had picked him out in the 38th minute.
Joden Trickett and Joel Rollinson both went close for the home side before the latter struck a post at full stretch.
