■THREE Bridges edged a scrappy encounter with a victory over Crowborough Athletic in a match short on quality and clear chances.
The first half offered little in the way of excitement until the 45th minute, when Ade Adyinka forced the Crowborough goalkeeper into a low save with a left-footed strike from 20 yards. From the resulting corner, Noel Leighton rose highest to head home and give Bridges the lead just before the break.
