■ KYE JUDE scored twice as Grays overcame Bowers & Pitsea.
The game started in dramatic fashion as Bowers goalkeeper Joe Whitney saw red after ten seconds for handling outside the area.
It was soon one red apiece as Oscar Shelvey was dismissed for a late tackle on Jon Evans. Grays led just before half hour, Jude heading home his own rebound after Carter had saved well.
In response, Bowers saw Re nei Batlokwa hit the crossbar, before Jude bagged his second from Harry Hope’s corner.
