■ BASHLEY’s search for a first home league win of the season continues — denied at the seventh attempt by a late Exmouth rally.
When Leighton Thomas calmly slotted home a 74th-minute penalty after Harvey Bertrand was brought down, Bashley thought their earlier dominance had finally paid off. It was only the second time they had led at home all season — and just their third goal on home turf.
