■ THE hard work of ground staff and volunteers at the Dog and Duck was rewarded by an easy victory for Wellingborough, who blitzed Bedworth.
Will Jones opened the scoring for the hosts after 37 minutes when a lofted ball towards him was finished off with a decent 15-yard effort into the far corner of the net.
Former Premier League striker Nile Ranger won a penalty for the hosts after 50 minutes and Danny Draper did the rest by coolly sending goalkeeper Oliver Sayer the wrong way from the spot.
