SPORTING Khalsa got hit by a true smash and grab as Mossley claimed victory with a late winner.
The first half was littered with half chances for both sides as they battled to take the lead in the testing conditions.
The second half continued in the same vein as the first half, with both sides slugging it out.
Khalsa nearly took the lead in the 82nd minute, only for Mossley to hit them on the counter attack and score with a deflected effort. Stan Asomugha then tapped in a fully deserved equaliser for the home side.
