■ AN INTENSE, hard fought and physical encounter ended goalless with Trafford squandering two late chances to snatch the win they so desperately need.
Albion striker Freddy Garbutt struck the upright after just 30 seconds while Trafford skipper Harry Norris twice headed wide from corners.
Christy Edwards was a constant menace to the home defence with his pace and skill but despite his side dominating possession for long spells in the second half, it was Trafford who created the better chances.
