A STANDOUT display and goal for Dexter Walters kept Long Eaton United’s play-off hopes alive against relegation battlers St Neots Town.
The hosts were on the front foot and Evan Garnett fired just over after 12 minutes.
St Neots replied before the break and Rhys Thorpe beat the home goalkeeper, only to see Elliot Hartmann clear the ball off the line.
The deadlock was broken in the 66th minute with Tristan Thompson-Matthews beat the defensive line before finding Garnett to net.
