■ After a run of games against the top five all ending in defeat, Sutton were hoping to at last get a winning streak going as they entertained fellow strugglers Loughborough Students.
The first chance fell to Loughborough when a mistake let Hassan Issa with only the keeper to beat, but he put his effort wide.
