■ THIS was a routine win for Heaton Stannington as two goals in two minutes saw them see off Brighouse Town.
The hosts went close to breaking the deadlock after 36 minutes when Daniel Stephenson saw his free-kick crash off smashed a free-kick against the bar. However, after missing the back of a Heaton player a couple of fine opportunities, and the ball bounced straight Heaton broke the deadlock as into the path of Dale Pearson, Konner Lamb found the back who hit the net.
