THE match began brightly for the home side, with Jack Chawner coming close to a goal.
However, the game’s momentum was interrupted when Redbridge’s Henry Day was involved in a heavy challenge, requiring medical attention. The match was paused for approximately 20 minutes.
After a goalless first half, the second saw Felixstowe come out with a renewed intensity. Despite this, it was the home side who took a surprising lead. Redbridge earned their first corner and Olukoga bundled the ball over the line.
