■ PENALTIES were the watchword as Redbridge slowed Witham Town’s play-off aspirations this week at the Simarco Stadium.
The home side took the lead in the 11th minute with Sam Bantick’s well-taken first of the day. The elebrations didn’t last long, though, as five minutes later, the visitors won a spot-kick, and the in-form Malachi Napa converted coolly for his 11th Isthmian League goal of the season.
Just 10 minutes later, the home defending left a lot to be desired as Redbridge won another penalty.
