HORNDEAN returned to winning ways with a narrow victory at home to Raynes Park.
The hosts had the better of the chances in a closely fought first half which ended goalless, most notably when Ewan Lynch was unleashed in the box for Horndean – his near post shot was placed narrowly wide.
The Deans came close in the second half after 65 minutes – an audacious effort from Michael O’Connell on the half-volley from range hit the bar.
