■ SHAFTESBURY earned a solid victory on home turf over a resilient Brixham side thanks to goals from Harvey Bradbury and Toby Holmes either side of half time.
Bradbury stooped to head home the opener after 37 minutes following a tremendous run and cross from Lewis Brown.
Tom Hewlett then looked to have increased the lead when his effort appeared to have slipped over the line, but it was ruled out.
Brixham’s best chance came when Lucas Robinson bursted forward and his effort looked goal-bound, but was deflected wide.
