A GOAL two minutes after the interval gave Darlaston Town a victory over basement club Trafford.
Callum Knowles was able to steer the ball past Sam Booth to give the hosts their first win in seven league games.
It was a game Trafford needed to win if they were to have any chance of staying in the NPL, and they started the game on the front foot with Kieron Molloy shooting wide of the goal after jinking past two defenders.
