■ ON a cold windy afternoon, Larkhall emerged victorious.
The first attempt at goal came from the hosts, when Olly Gardner saw his header dealt with by Larkhall goalkeeper Liam Armstrong, but after 20 minutes a downward header from Sam Boulton found its way passed a crowd and ended up in the net.
Both had two further attempts, for the hosts Sam Wright and Jack Winsor saw attempts end up wide, while Larkhall’s Dawid Regular put an effort wide.
